Bastion Rising

Five cadets. One squadron. A truth that doesn’t want to be found.

Three years after Meridian Station, Kai Vale arrives at the Bastion Ring with a locked data chip and a question her father never got to answer.

The academy trains the pilots of the future, and it expects Kai to become one: to fly, to follow orders, and to trust the system that brought her there. Instead she lands in a squad of five cadets who don’t fit that system any better than she does.

To find what her father found, Kai will have to become the pilot the academy wants, without becoming what it wants her to be.
